New Zealand Flying Doctors Service operates 24/7/365 from bases in Christchurch and Nelson, completing around 1,200 patient transfer flights every year. They provide ICU level bed to bed care between hospitals across New Zealand and to the Chatham Islands.
Both services rely heavily on community support, with millions of dollars needing to be raised each year to keep these life saving services flying.
$2 from every pack sold is donated to the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue.
